hello volks !!

following things are now available: BUDDYLIST/BUDDYCHAT/USERGUESTBOOK

BUDDY/NETWORK

- you can invite contacts/buddies/friends/networkers , however you want to call - in the moment it is

* in your navigation menue: "buddylist"

* in the further administration it is "your network" ---> yet it is all the same, just didnt manage yet to change the names everywhere on the script so that after we only speak about "network"

HOW TO: you simply go on the profile of the person you want to have on your network list and you will find a option to add this person to your "buddylist". this user will ahev a notification then and oyu can see your buddylist after right under the navigation panel called "My Network".

in the navigation panel itself it is still called buddylist, which as i said remains the same thing, and there you can handle groups. basically you can collect your networkers and create groups with them.

- i had installed a buddy chat function, so that users could have chat 1:1 in a extra cat field, but it didnt work out. i will get behind this possibly tomorrow. well..one day it will work ;)

USER GUESTBOOK

- every user now has their own guestbook in the profile. if you go and see your profile, you can read and edit the messages, as well you can access your guestbook directly via the navigation panel.

- to post a message to someones guestbook you wether go via navigation panel on guestbooks and search for the username, or you go directly on the users profile to send a message from their profile page. ( don´t let yourself be fooled by a message on the profile of a user asking you if you want to visit the profile of the person you are actually on already. that seems to be a bug, but the modul about this doesnt really want easily to make so that the guestbook appears publically. for this i had to use a not well improoved snippet and have to see ow to get this off. yet i prefered to have the guestbooks on the profile page, simply to follow our aim to comeclose to myspastic ) you can also switch off the guestbook on your profile, if you dont need or want it.

CHAT

then we have a general chat now, which you see up on the left sidebar. it actually shows 5 chats named: musix, activism, soundsystems, party life and bollox. the code could allow every user to start chats, which i didnt configure so, cause i realyl think we dont need it and thought we would first try if we feel comfy with this what we got now.

HOW TO: click on the name of the chat you want to participate ( as said before ) and voila, you see the name of teh chat and after a few seconds it appears the text line where you can enter your text. the moment you enetr teh chat it shows you the last 20 sent messages.
