I'm happy for you that you got your decks Its good to have a hobby But since you've got the beats to match You've become somewhat "tekno" snobby yes you've done some wicked mixes and stuff You really filled the floor But thinking you're immortal for keeping a beat? f*cks sake, its only counting to 4 Of course I've got admiratrion for your dreams I want everyone to achieve But equating you skill with godlike status I find a bit hard to believe It's sad but the minute we tell you you're good you start to shag around your girlfriend (who probably picked half your tunes) Gets ditched while your ego is crowned Remember however what it means to be king There's always someone to fill your role And those late nights - parties and shagging Inevitgably will take their toll. Just like every competition which requires the ego DJ's are easy to find Arrogant ones soon become resented - its a fact And I think you should bear it in mind I thank you for your music, dedication and talent Your contribution is improtant to me But don't turn into a twat you'll fall on your face Please - I just want you to see. Its good to be popular and well respected And I know you want it to last But your personality should offer as much as your music Then - you'll be un-surpassed Keep trying to push boundaries - aim for the stars But remember you'll never get there The sky's the limit - not heaven - you're human Just always stay aware So DJ - keep mixing but keep your feet on the ground You need them in order to dance Just remember there's no need to become a prick Then you really might have a chance wonky girl 23
