exhibition, events and multimedia workshops with an
aim of keeping it freaking and communicating messages
of Underground Media and anti-Nuke action.

FrenchTek...

this year the scene in France have decided to separate considering the different understanding
about ideals of Freeparty. Some people decided to organize a Free Festival with the
State without any advantages for the Scene, apart having a good time, whilst this big
Events the last years have been simple means of pressure as base for negotiations
with the state. This caused reaction of the collective of soundsystems that decided
in majority to do a illegal event, cause negotiations with the Ministry are on ice and
collaborating with them for having realize a event is not the way forward, moreover
they see it as "selling" freeparty to the Government.

The legal Event has as well been declared which makes it be fully state controlled.
That is the first time in History that a declaration has been signed ! The first time a legal Teknival,
called Festival, without any meaning of pressure or any aim to reach will take
place near Nancy.

With that move they play in the hands of ex interior minister Sarkozy who want to become
President of France just the week after, cause he has been in charge about the
negotiations and showing already the Free Festival in TV, he shows the Public in
France that he has the situation under control and that he has sense and understanding
for the young (mostly white) people in France. That is a fatal move, cause nor he has
understanding, nor he has the will to support this movement in any way. He now
simply use it a media tool for the election runup.

People who want to support the french Freeparty scene, people who believe into
DIY and Autonomy an not at least free spirit, can join the illegal event.

Boycott the State organized festival ! Boycott collaboration with a State that is using Freeparty
as a tool for the election campaign of a man who hasn´t got any good plans for the future
of Freespaces !!!!

The roving band of tekno-circus nomads, BASSLINE CIRCUS , look set to continue their upwards spiral this year. For the 2007 production (currently in rehearsals somewhere in a secret underground bunker), they are joined by non other than Pierrot Bidon, of Archaos. Archaos was an early alternative circus, which you may remember pioneered such acts as juggling fiery chain-saws

Pierrot has stepped up to direct the 2007 show, which promises to continue the evolution of the post-rave circus, while still leaving the speaker stacks set to a volume at least twice as loud as absolutely necessary...
